Just Say Merry Christmas
Okay, I have been so frustrated with all of this Happy Holidays stuff here lately. I am sorry but I don't know of any other holiday where you put up a tree and decorate it so why must we call it a holiday tree instead of a Christmas Tree. As my brother says if it is a holiday tree why are they not for sell on the second of July. Then you have the whole Target thing with everything is now Holiday what ever and nothing can be Christmas. My question is are they going to have an after Christmas sell on the 26 and if they do what are they going to call it?? Oh and I think my favorite is the fact that in one town they had up a manorah but had to take down the nativity because the nativity was a religious symbol and the manorah is not. I am sorry but Hanukkah is a religious holiday just like Christmas except Hanukkah hasn't be commercialised like Christmas and only people who follow the Jewish faith celebrate Hanukkah. Where as Christmas has been so commercialised that people who are not Christians still celebrate it, Santa is not part of the Christmas story. Now I have nothing against Santa however we do need to remember the real reason for the season.
The final thing I have to say about this is that in China they have Merry Christmas stuff up. Okay this says Messing Chritmas but you get the point. This is in communist China and yet in "Freedom of Relgion" America it is taboo. I don't get it!
