Throwback Thursday!

So this Thursday is not as "Throwback" as the others. It was taken only 4 years ago. Yet, when I look at this photo it seems like it was another life time. This was taken a year and a half before I started on my weight loss journey. I can hardly believe it when I see just how big I was and I never even realized it until now.

In the picture with me are my brother-in-law, my sister, and one of the foster kids that was living with my parents at the time. We are at the Coke Museum in Atlanta, GA.

Throwback Thursday!

Proof that at one point in my life I did play sports. I actually stuck with t-ball/softball through the 7th grade. In 7th grade they switched us to fast pitch and I didn't like it anymore. I couldn't hit the ball. Though I would have to say that the best part of playing softball were the years my dad was the coach of the team. He was a great coach!

The Tale of the Chicken Pox!

I can still remember it like it was yesterday. I was sitting in my first grade classroom and I noticed this weird bump on my chest. It didn't itch but it seemed kind of strange. I didn't tell any one about it, however it was very obvious the next morning when I awoke with spots all over me and itching like crazy, I had the chicken pox. I was so mad because I knew I had to miss my dance recital. My mom let me go but I had to stand out in the lobby and watch from the back door. Then just a few days later my little sister came down with them too!


My sister and I loved the pajamas sooo much! And I thought it was the coolest thing that our Cabbage Patch dolls could wear the same thing. Though now that I look at the picture it is kind of funny that my Cabbage Patch had blond hair and blue eyes and my sisters had brown hair and brown eyes.

Throwback Friday????

So I was bit distracted yesterday with everything that has been happening. Though it has all been absolutely wonderful. In light of being distracted I completely forgot about my Throwback Thursday. So I figure better late than never but Throwback Friday just doesn't have as nice of a ring to it! :)

This is me in first grade. I loved dance class! My sister and I wore out all of our costumes from playing dress up all of the time in them. This was one of my favorites. This was from our fall recital because I didn't get to dance in the spring one. I had chicken pox. I remember being so mad that my sister got to dance and then she came down with chicken pox the next week!

To Be in High School Again...

10 years ago I had just started my Senior year of high school. I had an awesome senior year with very few classes and alot of goofing off. It was quite fun. But honestly, I never want to be in high school ever again. I enjoyed high school. I had lots of friends. Made good grades. I was involved in everything under the sun. However, I am glad that is over. There was way to much drama!
