God is really doing some amazing things around here. I am surrounded by friends who are all over the world working to spread the gospel of Christ. Today I found out I have yet another one headed out. This is a family that has been very close to me and I love them dearly. Of course in the last year or so we have kind of lost touch because our lives have taken us in different directions. But today I heard from Mike and they are headed to Kansas City to go to school at the International House of Prayer. Their ultimate goal is to go to Hawaii and raise up passionate worshipers of Jesus. It is amazing to me to see God work and fulfill his calling in someone's life. Mike has felt called to go full time into worshiping and leading others into worship for over 4 years now. He has been diligently working on the police force until God had released him to worship. Now he has been released and that is what he is going to do.
Mike has such an amazing heart and he is so in love with Jesus you can't help but catch a bit of his passion for Christ when you are around him. I don't think I have ever met anyone like him and I doubt I ever will. I just thank the Lord for amazing friends he has put in my path.
Sometimes I wonder where all of this will lead me. I do know that it is taking me on a great adventure. Jesus is writing my love story and it can't get any better than that.
