This has been one of my busiest weekends in a long time. Friday night was actually pretty boring. However, Saturday was a different story. Saturday morning I ran to New York and Company to buy a dress for later in the day. While I was there I ended up buying some spring clothes because there was a 40% off sale on everything and I had a 20% off coupon! I couldn't pass up a deal like that since I can't fit into any of the clothes I wore last spring. It is a good problem since I have lost 2 pant sizes since then but rather expensive at the same time. So I managed to get 150 dollars worth of clothes for about 70 dollars.
Saturday afternoon I went up to Joplin and attended a wedding. I don't actually know the bride and groom very well but they are members of my church and I am anticipating getting to know them better once they are both in town. It is always a little weird to go to a wedding where you only know like 10 other people out of the 200 in attendance. But it was beautiful and we went to eat at this local restaurant called the Red Onion, very yummy! Then headed home and ended up playing poker until about 10:30. I was the first one out but we weren't playing for money so that was okay.
Yesterday I just had church but we have started our first Alpha course. I have gone through the college version of Alpha and have helped with the retreat at my brothers Church before but this is the first time to actually go through it in its fullness. It is pretty cool because our entire church is doing it together. There are only about 30 of us. We also have a few new believers and non-believers that are attending. This week the topic was who is Jesus. There was some great discussion sparked at all the groups. My friend Kimberly said that at her group where all the non-believers are they really had some deep questions that she wasn't expecting. I am very excited about what God is doing in our Church!
Today is not the weekend but busy just the same. School is insane! The kids have all already checked their brains out back at spring break. We have more standardized testing this week so I don't get any planning time on Tuesday or Thursday. And I have first grade musical on Thursday night. I had all 100 of the first graders in my classroom today. It was controlled chaos!! Well as controlled as you can keep 100 first graders. I am pretty confident that it will all turn out well in the end but as always I am sweating it up until then.
After school went running with Kimberly and I am finally back up to about 2 miles after taking 2 weeks off and then throwing my back out again. I am still planning on running in my schools 5k on the 28 as long as everything goes as planned.
After running and dinner I went and hung out with some ladies from church. Most of them are knitters but I took my weight loss scrapbook and finally got my 100 and 110 pound weight loss picture pages done. It was funny showing all of the ladies my scrapbook because most of them didn't know me 2 years ago when I was heavier. They all say they have a hard time picturing me heavier. Kimberly, who has known me for 9 years, even says she has a hard time remembering what I looked like before because I seem to be the same Kelly. Of course before I never would have dreamed of running with her.
So needless to say things have been quite busy. Though I think tomorrow night it will slow back down just a bit. That will be nice.

Sounds like you had a good weekend! We missed you Saturday night. Just sending some love!
100 tykes making a joyful noise, what a handful! And an earful I'm sure...
I hope you do some nice stretching before you put on your running shoes, alleviates built up tensions especially in the back.
David (no not the one snoozing in the green pasture; the one looking for the still waters of a tropical lagoon, blue water water temp. about 90 degrees at surface, lots of pretty coral and yummy shellfish and wild dolphins. Hey where the heck IS that still water? The water here in Nor Cal is as cold as ice, I got to start walking south, maybe head to Galveston or Key West or Puerto Rico.
