I am sitting here at my parents kitchen table staring out the window. The sun is shining. There sky is a beautiful shade blue. Perfect fluffy white clouds are floating by. The grass is green and the wind is blowing through the trees. It is one of those days that makes you want to take a blanket to the park and lie there all day just reading a good book. Except there is one big flaw to that plan.
IT IS REALLY COLD OUTSIDE!!!

Haha, I just read today that the temperature in Wadena, Minnesota (near my old hometown) was exactly 0 degree F. I laughed out loud. It was so warm and gorgeous here today in Eureka CA, perfect summertime weather, all the apple and cherry trees filled with blossoms and fragrance. I walked a couple miles, and really enjoyed it. (Not so nice during the long rainy season walking every day...but forget about that, it's summer now!)

Well, destiny has a great sense of humor too I guess. A little while after writing the message, the weather here turned, and it has been raining until now and more rain is forecast! And to top it off we had 2 little earthquakes too! One in Eureka and one in Petrolia, a 3.3 and 3.4.
Well you just never know...
