Okay so I am not a parent. However I do get funny calls every week from either my sister-in-law or my sister saying what the girls are up to now. This week I received calls from them both.
Gail called because Janae can finally say Kelly. It was so sweet! So now my conversations with her on the phone sound pretty much like "Hi" "Kelly" "Bye Bye." That is all said before I get a chance to say "Hi Janae."
Chris called and left me a very funny message last night. Her exact words were "She finally did it! She poopied in the potty!" The funny part wasn't what she said but the fact that she was so incredibly excited. Of course the person my sister was referring to is my 2 year old niece Kallie who has been in the process of potty training for almost 2 months now.
I love being an aunt! I get to tell funny kid stories and play with them all the time but when the get grouchy I send them back to their momma!!
