Who Could Have Guessed?

Today I got a random message on MySpace. The subject simply said "Did you ever live in Rome?" For a moment I was very confused. Thinking why would anyone ever think I lived in Italy? The name didn't ring a bell and I didn't recognize the picture because it was a little boy.

So I opened the message and read this "Did you ever live in Rome, GA? If not sorry to bother you. You look just like my friend Kelly from Elementary. Jo Anne" As soon as I read it my jaw dropped. Jo Anne was my best friend in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. We lost touch after my family moved back to Oklahoma. I was completely floored that she found me or even thought to look for me for that matter.

So that being said I decided to do my own investigation to see if my friend Kandice was on there as well. Actually it was pretty easy considering Jo Anne, Kandice, and I were friends so Kandice was already on Jo Anne's friends list. Though I was slightly confused for a second because Kandice now goes by Kay.

Anyway, this is all to say I love technology! These are two people I would never have been in contact with again if it wasn't for the internet and MySpace. And oddly enough I have several friends who I wouldn't even know if it weren't for MySpace either. The internet has made the world even smaller!
