After watching this bird sit on her eggs for several weeks the baby's finally hatched. There are 4 little baby birds in that nest now. Each one of them continually stretching toward the sky searching for food. They are hungry and they are watching and waiting to be feed. And in the midst of them stretching to the sky you can hear them calling out. They realize that they are hungry, they know who can feed them, and they are not afraid to let everyone know.

I have sat for long periods of time watching these birds. And as usual, when I take time to see all God has created and appreciate His handy work he teaches me more about himself. To see these little lives God has created and to know that he cares for each of them. He will clothe them with brilliant feathers. He feeds them food that is good and nourishing for their bodies. He has given them a suitable place to live and grow. He watches over them. They have now worries about the things they need, everything is provided for them. They have been given the skills to complete the task for which God has created them.
I am once again reminded that God is our provider. He knows everything we need and even our desires. He has equipped us with every skill we need to be able to fulfill the tasks to which he calls each and everyone of us. Yet, so many times I let worry freeze me. I begin to worry about all the things occurring, or sometimes not occurring in my life. Things like needing a roommate, trying to fit all the things I need to accomplish into one day, being a good teacher, and if I am ever going to meet the man I will one day marry. In and of themselves these things are not bad, they are desires and concerns that I have, the problem comes when I choose to focus on them instead of on God. When I become so consumed by doing, instead of being what God has called me to be.
The great part is, that when I stop and refocus all of my worries seem to disappear. They are still concerns but I have peace knowing that God is control. He is my provider and comfort. He knows all and sees all. Even when I don't understand at that exact moment there is a purpose to what he is doing. He loves me with such a great love and He is watching over me every second of every day.
"25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
