Working all summer left me with only 5 days before I had to be back at school. However I made sure to take full advantage of those 5 days! My amazing vacation was spent discovering many hidden treasures!

The first of many treasures was the amazing lake house my friend Amy and I stayed at. The house actually belongs to one of her relatives and we didn't in the big house we stayed in a cabin on the property. It was still amazing and beautiful! It was great just to hang out on the dock, swim a little, and read.

The last three days of my vacation was spent finding many different treasures. I met up with some of my family and headed down to Murfreesburo, AR. On the way down there we picked up 11 geocaches. It was so much fun. One of my favorites was "The Muffler Man!"

We also spent some time at the Crater of Diamonds. Diamond hunting is hard work! And it is very, very dirty work! We didn't find anything but we had great time spending time together as a family. I do have to say I enjoyed the geocaching much more than the diamond hunting.
After putting over 500 miles on my car, finding 30 geocahces, and spending 6 bucks to dig in the dirt, I had an amazing 5 day summer break! So now it is back to work. I had to go back today and the kids will be back on the 20th. Even though I wish I had a few more days to catch up on things around the house, I am looking forward to being back on a normal schedule once again!
