A Stark Contrast
Saturday and Sunday it was beautiful outside. With the temperature at 70 I was running around barefoot and in short sleeves. However, this is the scene today. It is pretty amazing what a cold front can do. And now two days after it was 70 I am sitting at home on snow day. This is the biggest snow we have gotten all year and i has already melted about an inch since 5 this morning.
NO FAIR!!! We haven't had a snow day yet and it isn't looking good for it to happen at all. I would love to have a couple of days off so my students can get well. We have had a rash of flu cases and I just really don't want to catch it. We need to decontaminate. I'm glad someone I like gets to have a snow day. :)

Me Too! Enough to get you out of school and then it is melted by noon so you can get out and enjoy the day off :)

Jennie,
The worst snow storm I was ever in occured in 1993 while I lived in Menlo, GA. I know you remember it -- 24 inches of snow in 24 hours!
That occured at the end of Spring Break in March, so maybe there is hope for you yet. ;-)
