The good news is that someone actually came to my classroom today and realized just how dangerous of a situation everything is turning out to be. And after several different phone calls they also realized they are going to have to rip out my entire floor.
Bad news is since they will be doing all this work in my room I have been kicked out of my room for the remainder of the year. Next week I will still be going to PE with my kids and for the last 6 1/2 weeks of school I will be moved into a much smaller room in a portable building. All of my instruments will be moved to storage at a completely different building. So it will be interesting to figure out what I will be doing with limited space and no instruments.
Well I guess we will just make the best we possibly can out of such a crazy situation.
