Half Way There!

Thanks to those of you who took the time to help me choose I picture. I sent in the first one :)

Today I auditioned for the National Anthem and it was amazing. There were probably between 75 and 100 people there to audition. I happened to get there early so I ended up being 14th on the list. It was amazing, we actually went down on the field and sang through the PA system. So I got to sing at a major sports arena and I did have an audience of all the other people auditioning. So I have almost fulfilled my dream besides having the actual sporting event occurring :)

I think I did really well. It was kind of difficult at first because right as I started singing a helicopter flew over so I could only hear myself out of the PA which had about a half second delay. I kept thinking to myself "Just stay on pitch and you will be fine!" By the time I ended it the helicopter had flown on by and I hit the high part really well. I had several people tell me how well I did as I was walking out so that encouraged me as well. I know that I did better than over half the people that went before me, but of course that was only 13 people. I am supposed to find out in the next couple of days if I made it or not. I will keep you posted for sure!
