Trading Spaces!

When I was in college Trading Spaces was my favorite TV show. I would spend all day Saturday just watching episode after episode. My dad would tease me about when I would come home on breaks from college and my sister and I would watch home decorating shows for hours, because something in the house always ended up getting changed. The walls may get painted, the furniture moved around, but something always got changed.

Today I felt as though I was in an episode of Trading Spaces, only it was my own space, and I had no one there to help me. I spent hours today painting my classroom. The walls were a dirty cream color and had seem much better days. So I took upon myself to make it look more presentable and to add a bit of myself in the process. So I took and painted one wall a dark red color and the other three walls are now white. It took me the entire day just to get the walls finished, and tomorrow I am going to work on painting my cabinets, they have seen better days too. I am going to paint them all black. I have also decided that I am going to take some of the black and white photos of instruments I have taken and have them blown up to poster size and hang them in my classroom too! I don't know why but I love the black, white, and red color combination! When I get it all done I will put up some pictures.
