I don't know if I could be prouder of a group of kids even if they were my own! Tonight we had our 4th grade musical. We performed It's Gotta Be Jazz, by John Jacobson. It was the best musical that I have had since I started teaching 5 years ago! They all knew their lines. They all did the actions. I didn't have anyone just standing there. It was amazing!! I am so proud of them. I don't think they could have done any better!
I am amazed this year. I finally feel like I have things under control and I am not getting totally swamped. Usually by this point in time I am needing a break but this year I am excited to get to school everyday, and I am actually excited about writing my lesson plans!
