At first glance these three things have nothing in common. However they are things I have been contemplating at the beginning of 2007. Why? I am not completely sure but it interesting all the same.
Well babies thing is because I have been hanging with my nieces who are 18 and 24 months old. Plus my sister is 10 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 for her. I went with her to her first doctors appointment and got to see the baby on the ultrasound. Her husband had to work and she didn't want to go by herself plus I helped coral Kallie. It was absolutely amazing to see this baby at only 10 weeks has arms and legs. You could see its little heart beating. And the craziest thing of all was you could tell it was already sucking its thumb. I am in awe of the handiwork of God. God already knows who this child is and what they look like. He knows how many hairs are on its head and if it is a boy or a girl. My money is on a boy.
Then you have sunsets. Even though I am only 2 hours from my parents I swear they have more beautiful sunsets in Oklahoma. I think it is because you can actually see for miles and miles without a mountain blocking your view. I think beautiful sunsets are little love presents from God. The colors are amazing and you can never capture the beauty in a photo or paining. A sunset is something you have to experience. Now Sunrises are just as amazing but I don't like to get up that early.
And football because I have been watching all of the bowl games thus far. Of course both of my teams lost the Razorbacks and OU. On the bright side they were both really good games to watch. Now we have one more to go on Monday night. I have nothing against Ohio State however I really want Florida to win. It would make me feel better about losing the SEC Championship to them if they became the National Champs.
So there you have it as random as my thoughts can possibly be. Oh and by the way my 5k training derailed during Christmas but I am jumping back on the train tomorrow and I am going to run that 5k in April.
