The Room!

I finally have a moment to breath, even though I am not completely moved into my new classroom yet. I took a few pictures of what my classroom looked like in the many phases over the last week. And today they came in a sucked out the last of the water, though it is supposed to rain tonight so I have a feeling there will be more in there tomorrow.
This is all my stuff that had to be moved up from the flat part of the room.

This is the wooden platform that was built to give the room more flat area and it is 13 inches tall. The water was deep enough that it completely ruined the carpet.

They cut a hole in the platform to discover just how deep the water really was, it was 13 inches deep and this was after sucking water out with wet vacs for an entire day.

Friday they finally pulled the wooden platform out and there was still about 3/4 of an inch of water in the room. That whole concrete area was full of water! That is hard to imagine. And the wood they were pulling out of there was soaked.

The lovely mold that is growing on my walls. Proof that this has been leaking for a while we just didn't realize it!
